SHAWN CAMPBELL
Shawn's superb vocal skills have allowed him to be a member of the acapella group, Surround. He has always had a love for music. Shawn is a part of several ensembles such as Chamber Choir at U of M. This upcoming artist not only sings but bring movement with his performances! Shawn enjoys sharing music, he is continuously expanding his skills.
LADIA YATES
Choreographer Ladia Yates and her L.Y.E. Academy dancers will perform during the day Food Fest. Ladia has been "a favorite of some of the entertainment industry elite". Her extraordinary dance skills have allowed her to perform with the world's biggest stars such as Usher, Missy Elliot, Janelle Monae and more. Her heart-stopping moves are amazing!!
Chinese Connection Dub Embassy
Featuring five young men from around the country, CCDE was created to put a new spin on classic reggae tunes while offering their own stylish originals and unique covers – all the while restoring love and unity wherever they play. . They have been making waves within the southern reggae community since their first show in 2008. They’ve opened for Collie Buddz, Glen Washington, Dubtonic Kru, Ugly Lions, the Mike Pinto Band and many more.
Mark Baker

With over 20 years in performing under his belt, saxophonist, arranger and composer Mark Baker has cultivated a quality of music that resonates through a person's soul and touches their senses. He has had the good fortune to play with the Bar-Kays. Mark has opened up for other great artists; Jonathon Butler, Boney James, Kem, and Bobby Womack. He was also asked by Will Downing personally to perform at the Grand Casino in Tunica, Mississippi and in concert for the Gerald Levert/Will Downing concert at the FedEx Forum.
JESSICA WILLIAMS
Musician Jessica Williams will show us her awesome multi-talented skills! Jessica's selections for the festival will be Afro-Caribbean. Watch her elegantly play the Steel Pan from Trinidad and Tobago and the Nigerian Udu instrument. Jessica earned her masters at the University of Florida in Music Performance and is achieving her Doctoral degree in Percussion performance at UofM .
HECTOR DIAZ
From New York, this talented well-rounded musician who performed in the movie "Hustle and Flow" will show us his extraordinary skills. Hector will have the crowd dancing as he plays his Conga Drums to the Caribbean beat. We are calling him the Conga King. Watch this man play!!
Hector has also recorded with legendary greats such as Al Green, BoKeys, MoBoogie and many other artists and producers.
